I know, Howard was big here too (everywhere) - but was he recognised as much
more than a pop star with a haircut?
NME was dominated by jaded punk hacks who dismissed New Romanticism as not
cred enough - they preferred Julian Cope and Paul Weller etc. It's
worthwhile finding old copies and reading the reviews... for a laugh!
When I did the interview I was 'instructed' by the label via the manager not
to make fun of him - that tells you something. Hoping to get the article
posted v soon.

DJs for Eurythmics are mainly local - Askew are you still on the list, help
me here would you? I have seen Eurythmics tracks listed here and there, I
will have to recall.

I know one Melbourne DJ who plays Honkytonks is playing This City Never
Sleeps.
