YO yo yo yo yo yo m>o>s is the only stuff sounding like old chicago i like anymore. it's so deep and melancholy and beautiful. totally bringing back the virgo sound but with a bit more classic dutch mood, a bit of the old eevo deepness..just genuine, heartfelt music. those 707 drums are so gorgeous too.... i havent really given jamal moss much of a listen yet but euh, from what i've heard, aroy is IT for me. not that i don't like jamal's stuff it just doesnt pull at the heartstrings... i was just talking sh;t about all this wannabe oldskool chi-house stuff with minto last night. i'm so sick of it, aside from jamal and aroy. it's getting to be more parody than homage tho. super nerdy sheltered dudes from suburban netherlands trying to replicate old trax and dancemania...ugh, STOP. i know the music is the thing but something about it comes across wrong, i mean look at the inserts in some of the new bunker records etc...i find it offensive and really, pretty much racist...or just racially stupid
