DJ mag could quite happily go out of business and 99.9% of us wouldn't
notice.
I agree that DJ is an abominable publication, but I used to enjoy
reading Magic Feet or articles about Drexciya's 'The Quest' in Muzik.
I'd like to see that kind of coverage in widely available magazines
once again and to some small extent I think participating in this poll
by pushing my own musical agenda is a step in that direction. Not
holding my breath mind...
Me too Dan. Thing is though we live in vastly different times both
musically (techno and house are really niche types of music at the
moment) and in terms of publishing (the web is where people read stuff
now). Paper magazines are irrelevant now and as DJ mag has always been
irrelevant that is makes it doubly so :).
