well, alright, it wasn't a good example, bit of a flippant comment.

I cant remember the example. must look it up, but he was referencing a
pretty obscure post-punk record and saying it served as a blueprint for
later day jungle.

I cry "no chance". theres just no way that those guys were listening to
that stuff I dont reckon. they were sampling breaks from lots of places,
but I'm not having it that they listened to this record and thought "ooh,
thats the sound we're looking for".

I mean, doesn't goldie/rob playford cite bug in the bassbin at 45 as a
biggie for all those boys? something that started something.....
