Man - subliminal are serious crooks it seems.
Wasn't there another track that they recently just upright stole the entire
track and then just laid some vocals and some swirly crap sound efx over?

Well, if you speak about outright theft - Demarkus Lewis sent a CD copy of
tracks (which were released on Moods and Grooves in 2001) to DJ Dagwood who
then signs them to Subliminal Soul in 2003. See KelleMarie notes:

In general have you heard of situations where a producer (someone just
starting out, so unknown) sends some demos around and a label releases
them under a different name without crediting him or even informimg him?
I mean, an outright theft of music?
