why not reunite and cash in... 'Douglas McCarthy has confirmed last
Friday the rumours that the band is to reunite for a few selected
livedates. The final okay for the reunion tour was given "by both Bon
Harris and me when we met in Chicago earlier last week", Douglas said.
There will only be a few selected dates and before you all start
dreaming, the band has not yet started work on new material. Or
"no, not
yet...", as McCarthy puts it. It is expected that the band will
take the
opportunity to record and film live material. Only one date is sure
yet:
the Wave Gotik Treffen 2006in May in Leipzig, Germany. The gigs are
booked by Neuwerk, a new German booking agency that was started by
former employees of Protain and that already has Fixmer/McCarthy under
its wings'
