Have anyone compared the old Landcruising pressint/mastering with the
new The Album Formely Known... ?
Is there a huge difference? IIRC, the Landcruising pressing/mastering is
quite good. On the other hand, there is a big difference between the
Transmat/Fragile original pressings and the BFC/Psyche 2x12"on Planet E.
The quality of the pressing is good, if not better, but it's not a repress
per se. Each track has been edited in some way. Some of them are scarcely
different, some are nice new variants, others fall short. And it has
'Sparkle'. I'm happy to have it as a vinyl replacement for the CD copy I had
stolen though.
