We always have a great time when Vince Lemieux comes to town, and
we're thrilled to bring him back for this third Bunker appearance
this year. He runs the Musique Risquée label with Akufen in
Montreal. He toured China and South America with the Mutek
organization earlier this year, with some stops in big European
clubs in between. Vince has been a full time professional DJ for
some time now, and really knows how to light up a dance floor. We
saw his studio in Montreal this summer, and he is clearly very
busy working on some original music productions. We think you'll
be hearing alot more about this guy in the near future.
Joining Vince is alka_rex, aka Sascha and Eddie, the "Digital
Russians" of the NYC minimal techno scene. They released a double
album on Mille Plateaux side label Supralinear last year, and are
set to release a 12" on Musique Risquée in the spring of this
year. We heard their outstanding live set at Wolf+Lamb this
summer, and are very psyched to finally have them join us at the
Bunker.
