yeah wicked. I was there, ( Wellington, Queenstown, Dunedin ) in Jan. Primarily for Kaikoura Roots, which was a good intro into the cross culture of the NZ scene, ( lots of different styles on display ). Fat Freddy's doing that stretched out hypnotic acid groove :)) they are definately from outta space :P
Am thinking about going back next year and wouldn't mind picking up some smaller gigs, maybe mid weekers. Any hints on making that happen would be sweet. Also the thing I liked the most about NZ was the evident collaboration the artists have with each other. People are really into the focus of the jam, making music for the music. laid back. :)) andrew.
