Sounds like Mr Grumpy got decaf today...

Well, he has a valid point. When I was on the digest it was extremely irritating to end up reading 4 bazillion copies of the same message.

Exactly my point. I *am* on the Digest, and it's patently absurd
to scroll through page after page of included messages that all
come from one-liners. You'd be grumpy too after a whole Digest
full of 'em (and yes Tom, I know you trim yours. Thanks.).

But Greg, you have no reason to be grumpy at Tristan as he DID give 24 hours notice (26, to be precise).

Yeah! :P

But I can see why you didn't catch it amongst all those untrimmed messages. ;)

Apologies to Tristan - I was reacting to the "We're on in about
10 minutes" message, rather than the original one (which was, alas,
buried in a Digest that contained many lengthy untrimmed posts).

Still, my point stands in general - if you're going to be on a
Net Radio show, please try and give as much advance notice as
you can - remember that us Digest folks don't get Digests until
there's been enough postings to generate a new one, so it can
often take a day or two for your announcement to arrive in the
next Digest. Thanks.

        - (Not really grumpy) Greg
