Hey I just remembered that Suss'd Records (Salsoul's UK unit) recently did an excellent repress series of (some of) the original Salsoul favourites. This wasn't some bodge job either. They acquired the original masters and digitized them, then had them re-mastered by world renowned mix-down/mastering engineer Tom Moulton.
