Subject: (313) sound separation House music
Been listening to some samples on Juno and I've noticed with some
producers
they manage to create what I can only describe as a separation between
their low and high ends. The result is a sort of 'wrapped in a cocoon"
feeling. Nice fat bottom with a crystal clear high. Almost 3D in a way
with a nice hollow space in the middle range where sounds are accentuated
when they come in. Really cool production.
some examples:
Kevin Yost - This Be Said

Kevin Yost - Filtered Love (at least in the beginning)
http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF17694-01-02-01.mp3
Kevin Yost - What is Cool (Deep Mix) - this is probably one of the better
examples

Ok so these are all Kevin Yost tracks but I'd like to find more like this
from other artists.
Going to be playing on a big system that this kind of production sounds
amazing on.
