His music sometimes is kinda head music. But with a lots of energy
and pure instinct too.
Carl Craig is not a formulaic techno man who makes a couple of good
tracks in the zeitgeist and neither a intelectual wannabe without any
punch or originality.
He can take me to primitive sounds of black music originality and to
the sophisticated soundscapes at the same time.
Sometimes i think i can hear marvin gaye or sam cooke through the
patterns.

honestly, i agree with you. the sheer amount of material he has
released that is completely timeless and classic is up there with
anyone, miles davis, john coltrane, parliament, prince, the beatles,
bob marley, philip glass, brian eno, etc. i think he should be
considered one of the greatest musicians of our time, anything less
would be an insult to him and to techno/house/whatever music in
general.
