IMO, Blue Potential is one of the best works ever done by Jeff Mills, there is something really different and new inside this project regarding the actual music production.
Of course the music played by the orchestra make it beutiful and 'big' but we have to remember that all these notes was basically written by Jeff Mills, it's all about his own work that was already big. For those who still cry of happyness when listening to 'The Bells', there is nothing for you in 'Blue Potential'. For the others I think being able to say that you will buy one of the masterpiece of all time techno productions and will never regreat this. I remember a old interview of Jeff Mills saying he wanted to create something with electronic and a chords quartet... Few years after, his approach of classical music mixed with electronic is a success. He also offer a real proof to all the peoples saying since years that techno = pushing buttons that they perfect idiots ... (IMAO) I say 'Bravo'.
