_rohformat043 ronin - the flight of birds (12 tracks) releasedate 07/24/2006 http://www.rohformat.de [-release_information---------------------------------------------------] amsterdams ronin, known from various releases on djax up and kazumi, imaginarily joins the kings of the skies on their way. his 'flight of birds' is a routemap to detroit rooted techno and some of its facets. starting on a 'zondag' with a pushing approach towards dubtechno, climbing 'this way up' on the groovey tip, heading over the minimal and harsh landscapes of 'ferox'. you definitely haven't seen 'all there is' yet before getting to know 'umeks friend', a 100% stomping monotonist. 'what we don't know' 'iona' could teach about the deep, 'tough one'. while the weather is getting cloudy, 'tunnelvision' has the drive for finding a place to 'walk this way', sterac style. it is uncertain 'what's happening' inside a birds mind when it finally reaches its destination after a long and exhausting journey to that warm and beautfiul place. one thing for sure, 'the flight of birds' never stops. it's 'zondag' again...
