One possible solution is OpenDB, which works with PHP + MySQL. You
can either run it locally on your machine by turning on your web
server and php support. OR you can put it up on your web space and
access it from anywhere. OpenDB is a generalized lending materials
database, with a decent support community. And it's cheap and/or free.
Of course, if you're really enterprising, you can just build the
whole thing from (My)SQL and make your own front-end.

I've been using My Music 3.0 by Computer Dynamics and have had only
