We had a screening here in Miami with Gary and it was great. Nice to
put a face to some of these names. For the heads or for those
interested in the history of this genre of music that we love so
much. I ordered mine from plexifilm so I still have a few weeks
before I receive it :)
There's still a few more screenings according to Gary .. New York ,
Australia , New Zealand.

Ramon

hi fellow music enthusiasts,
honest jon's/sounds of the universe are selling Hi-Tech Soul in dvd

description: "Brilliant feature-length documentary charting the
evolution of Detroit techno through revealing interviews with key
players such as Juan Atkins, Derrick May, Kevin Saunderson, Eddie
Fowlkes, Cral Craig, Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, The Electrifying
Mojo, Blake Baxter, Scan 7, Matthew Dear and more!
This is the first documentary film to tackle the history of techno
from the race riots of 1967, severe economic downturn and "white
flight" to the suburbs, to the underground party scene of the 1980s
and beyond.
The DVD is in all-region NTSC format and is presented in its
original cinema aspect ratio, and comes with deleted scenes, out-
takes and bonus interviews as extras!
Highly recommended!"
