Hi everyone, (apologies for cross-posts)
So I'm in Paris for 10 months (9 left!) and I realize I need to buy a
couple of things ASAP:
[Gear Setup: PowerBook G4, 1.5Ghz, OSX 10.4.8, dust]
1. a reasonably cheap USB or Firewire Audio interface (e.g., iMic or
something like that) to provide an additional audio output for
TraktorDJStudio
2. a lightweight electret-type T- or Y-mic with a 1/8" mini-stereo
out for use in a mobile interview settings with iPod+iTalk
connections (I know, it's ghetto, but I'm on a budget; I'll buy a
solid-state recorder someday...)
So, I was wondering if any of you might have a suggestion about:
- where in Paris to shop for such gear?
- any particular models you are particularly fond of?

Nouveau Casino! If you're in Paris, it'll be the place to be.
p.p.s. Also, Nuit Blanche this saturday in Paris (as well as several
other cities). Did anybody go to the Nuit Blanche in Toronto last
weekend?
