Hey Nik Thanks for the text. Nice to meet you also, even as you said briefly. In fact you probably had to wait longer outside that pub then we saw each other later! Sorry about that, I guess you could see from the amount of us walking down that it took a bit of getting everybody together, at least we got to say hello then. I thought it was a pretty good night, lots of people complained that it was too quiet (apparently they had complaints for those living nearby the previous week) but I thought it was OK near the front. The sound in the small room was poor again (as for 3 Chairs) though, spoiling Jamie Liddell. The biggest disappointment in the main room was that what looked like a long line up of Detroit acts wasn't really - i.e. Los Hermanos and Suburban Knight were on stage together and together totalled 3 people, Octave One was Octave 2 rather than 3 (if you know what I mean) + no Anne Saunderson vox :-( Rob Hood was the best thing all night as far as I was concerned so I was glad I was still going strong at the end. Bit cold too. Having written this much think I'll copy this to the list as I promised a friend on the other side of the planet a run down but I think this is all I'll have time to write. Hope to see you again sometime Francis
