his x-mix is killer.
best set i have seen him play was at the motor during the first demf. that set rocked. but mostly johns sets are so so. st the ten year anv. at st andrews he was playing pre mixed records and i kinda lost a little respect for him them. but he is a solid house dj, is fun to see, and does play (usually good tracks)

I used to love acquavivas sets in detroit. he's weird though.. Im not big on listening to recordings of his sets, but when you're there, he seems to know just the right track to drop. its been maybe 4-5 years since I last saw him, and I've heard he's fallen off since (maybe before, depending on who you ask) so this is a dated opinion :)

but yeah, an acquaviva mix purporting to be electro falls into the "dont bother" catagory to me, asI have no reason to believe he knows electro from his brownstar. then again, neither do I

Now from what I can tell, it's a bunch of stuff associated with GSR,
who put the mix CD out, and I even like some of the tracks, but "The
True Electro Experience"? BULLSH1T.
