Just got back from the Egyptian Lover show here in San Francisco and
what can I say.... those guys (Egyptian Lover and Jamie Jupiter) know
how to rock the joint!
E.L. started off dj'ing old electro classics, the real old school
deal, he was looping those records and cutting them up pretty damn
smooth, he then moved into doing some E.L tracks live on the mic.
Added bonus were his dance moves to go with his classics like Egypt,
Egypt, Computer Power and the best of the best Freakaholic... great
stuff!
The crowd was pretty varied, a small handful of those in the know,
lots of poseurs and especially the bunch of kids that looked straight
outta Zoolander.
All in all a great fun night! If he gets to your town, make sure you
go and see the show.
