OK, this popped into my mailbox this morning, an upcoming tour with
Model 500 (!), Aux88, Scan 7, Posatronix, The People Mover and Black
Electric!... ouch!

Detroit Techno created in the 80’s by Cybotron, aka Juan Atkins and
Rick Davis. The two men were pivotal in the creation of the genre and
music called Techno. Although Atkins and Davis split in the late 80’s
creating a void for hungry listeners. Davis continued cybotron solo
and Atkins went on to form his own label Metroplex and creating his
solo pseudonym model 500.
Model 500 music picked up where Kraftwerk left off and parliament
funkadelic began. Pulsating bass lines unlike any ever heard and a
smooth monotone vocal over Bernie Worrell like eerie strings.
Tracks like Technicolor, No Ufo’s and the Future made even the
hardest b-boys run to the dance floor. Re popularized and reborn in
the 90’s by artist such as Mad Mike (UR), Aux 88, Scan 7, and
Posatronix. The Electronic movement has gone on to drive the world in
every country in the world.
