I had a chance to stop by Dope Jams today to inspect, and let me just
say they've got a killer selection! Thanks J.T. for the heads up!! I
was there for a bout an hour and a half, and I picked up the following
goodies (could've bought a whole lot more):

CC - Paris Live - Planet e
V/A - Underground Anthems ep - Sistrum
Convextion - Romantic Interface - AW
Ugly Edits 07/Ugly Edits 08
R&S - Mango Walk
Jimmy Ross - First True Love Affair
Thom Yorke - The Eraser (Slow to Speak remix)
Larry Levan - Larry 09 (Slow to Speak edits)

And that's just the tip of the iceberg at this shop...seriously good
selection. I flipped through plenty of tunes I wanted to check out,
just didn't have the time today. One of the guys from Slow to Speak
actually works there/runs the shop. He was a very nice guy. I'm glad I
stopped by, and I'll definitely be going back.

Thanks again for the tip!

don't worry -- there is Dope Jams in Brooklyn now. i haven't been there, but
it's apparently a super high-quality shop for house, and some disco and stuff
in there too. from what i hear, they get all the dope detroit and chi stuff,
and very little junk...great store name too!

personally i think vinyl is on the upswing, or at least the bleeding has
stopped.
