Micronost [aka David Donohoe] serves up four tracks of obsessively tight,
compressed RnB grooves built from fragmented microsounds, clipped
percussion, sleazy infectious basslines and synthlicks. Awkwardly placed
vacuous vocals interweave with the glossy minutely detailed rhythms
producing something which simultaneously revels in and despises the empty
funk of a popular music entirely based on narcissism and capitalism. We got
mad love for this!
