yes
the original version of the vocal "Can U" did not come out on trax at all!
it's on Desire cat # wantx6 credited to Fingers inc ft chuck roberts.
The trax version of this came out 12 years later with all other represes.
i got a feeling the "let there be house" track you are talking about is
on Bobby Konders-house rhythms ep  on NuGroove ng38,the sample
is defintly from the acapela version of the Fingers track.
i always thought that the Tod Terry "can you feel it" sample is of the
Cyrus speach in the 77 Walter Hill movie "The Warriors"(u know the
one all those"can u dig it""20,000 hardcore mmbrs""future is ours"
etc samples comin of)but i havent seen it for years now ,so i might be
wrong
