Just to throw another opinion in the kettle, I count 'Deep Space' as my all-time favorite 313 album. I love the early stuff too, but in my eyes he really took to the sky in the 90s. I thought Fred and Eric's posts were spot-on. Aside from that, the Basic Channel influence on the '90s could not be overstated, and Juan Atkins had more collaborations with them than anyone I can think of. DJ-wise we've covered it all 12 times over here, but I've never been dissapointed by him in the 3 times I've seen him, even if every mix is not perfect (and sometimes every mix is).
