Good call, can't forget Chi Town's roots in the minimal techno movement. A lot of what Dan Bell and those guys did was add to the foundation that artists like, Mike Hitman Wilson, Steve Poindexter, etc built. Long live the Casio RZ1 :)
Back to Gherkin for a sec, I'm looking for a minimal beat record that Larry Heard did for that label way back when. I don't know what's it called, but as far as I know it's the only record of that nature that he did for Gherkin. Anyone know where I can find it or even what it's called? thanx in advance! dK Original Message: ----------------- From: armin holzgethan [EMAIL PROTECTED] Date: Mon, 18 Mar 2002 18:41:12 +0100 To: [email protected] Subject: [313] gherkin jerks speaking of (early) minimal techno gherkin jerks - stomp that beat - gherkin records gherkin jerks - 1990 - gherkin records have they been repressed? i seem to remember to have read something -------------------------------------------------------------------- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
