A few days ago, at a society dinner party, myself and the guests were enjoying the subtle delights of Maurice Joshua's "I've Got A Big Dick" over hors d'ouevres. One of the gentlemen politely inquired as to what Maurice Joshua, a man whose sensitivity was equalled only by his immense talent, might be doing these days. None of us knew.
Then the next day, an advertisment appeared on television for a Destiny's Child remix album. My ears perked up when I heard that it included remixes from, among others, Maurice Joshua. I had to do a double-take to make sure I wasn't hearing things. So what's Maurice Joshua up to? Is he making sleazy acid remixes of songs like "Survivor" and "Emotions" these days? Or what? It's all pretty intriguing - kind of like Luke making a record with Alanis Morrisette...
