Hi,
yesterday i received two excellent pieces of electronic art :-)

the first is the Tom Churchill & Dennis Desantis - Spaces/Leisure 12"
Headspace[HS011].
The tracks are grooving and full of crispy syncopated rhythms, sometimes
broken and sometimes driving. The intricate although somewhat minimal drum
programming is funkily juxtaposed to the warm stabs and sublime strings that
drive underneath giving it all a sort physical experience while still
keeping your head in the clouds and your heart open and warm. Which
translated means that the tracks are perfect in both a club and you home.
This is what one could easily call electronic house - to me this is what
tech house really is.

second up is Arne Weinberg - Beauty in Decay Downlow[DL008]
A lovely slab of vinyl. Very dark and dramatic tracks but the driving beats
underneath (it seems the emphasis is nont on the rhythm section but on the
melodies) keep the music alive and energetic so the mood is deep and
introspective without being moody or melancholic. The music sounds as if its
searching frantically for something - there is almost a sense of longing.
All in all a pretty emotional ride through dark techno soundscapes. Mature
techno.

Great work guys!!!!

fab.
