This is such fucking crap. This is exactly why 'the owners' should be artists themselves and at least be partially enlightened on the "street smarts" of entertainment logic. Good thing they hired you and be sure to renegotiate your contract when you prove to them [not through ticket yield but through international acclaim and respect] why they opened in the first place. I realize that 'international acclaim and respect' doesn't keep the heat on, but then again, good music is not purposely commercial.
