>I really really wish this was coming to Australia now. Cats may well be already working on it, baby.
>Stacey Pullen's coming to Perth in a few weeks, can anyone tell >me what sort of stuff he plays? Stacey Pullen comes from the Mayday school but he adds his own twist to things, taking the music into new dimensions of time, space and spirituality. He is a great, great DJ, with a flair for balancing technical prowess and feeling - so please do go. Stacey likes his soulful techno, house and garage. He has been known to spin drum 'n' bass and even the odd soul jam. He is one of those DJs who doesn't necessarily think of "techno" in terms of a bpm formula. In fact, these days he shies away from the word "techno." His mix-CD is one of the best titles in the DJ-Kicks series (!K7) and is still very popular, so you could check that out. It isn't hard to find, either. He will most likely do another one on his own Black Flag label - possibly featuring Black Flag stuff - once he has his new Virgin album out. He is also one of the most genuine and down to earth folks around. Over and out Peace C
