Tektite Recordings returns for the second installment of the "Array"
series. This release highlights 4 new additions to the Tektite Roster.
The first, Fred Giannelli, has been creating exceptional music since his
days in Psychic TV. He has gained much praise as the Kooky Scientist on
Plus 8 and has a string of great releases on his own Telepathic
Recordings. Fred's contribution to "Second Array" is a speaker thumping
techno workout with playful synth patterns and bouncy rhythms. Moron
(aka Sutekh and Safety Scissors) comes to us from San Francisco courtesy
of Belief-Systems/Context for a deep pumping techhouse cut reminiscent
of Sterac or Maas. The flip contains two more exceptional producers.
The first, Silverlining (aka Asad Rizvi), is known for his releases on
Reverberations and Wrong among others. He has been a driving force in
the UK techhouse scene for many years and we are proud to have him on
the Tektite roster. His track is deep bubbly techhouse, with a groovy
bassline and excellent production. Rounding out the comp is Neo (aka
The Knorrs). This Earth Recordings head honcho offers a crunchy
percussive dj tool with plenty of drops and fills for the techno
trickster. This record is mastered by The Knorrs and cut at The
EXCHANGE.
