> In one of the many reviews of the book (at amazon.com), someone asks why > didn't Dan Sicko mention the things that techno fans "listen for" in > techno music. I thought this was an interesting question. What do we > "listen for" in techno music???? It's weird, and I'm really not sure why > I listen to techno. Is it genetic? environmental? ???? What??
This is an interesting question (moreso than the simp who wondered why I didn't delved into trance and digital hardcore ...). Especially because I have always tried to explain with great detail how techno sounds (usually with silly metaphors). I had to suppress that kind of writing for Techno Rebels and stick to a more practical style. > bamm, sssss, bamm, sssss, bamm, sssss, .... I'll put this explanation in the 2nd edition! :) -d ____________________________ Dan Sicko http://www.reverbmag.com http://www.techno-rebels.com ____________________________
