And if you'd played Star Dancer in a trance club back then people would have gone ballistic - the two were definitely linked up until when Sven Vath and the Frankfurt trancey people started to become more prominent, and subsequently the "goa trance" sound hit at around the same time techno was discovering its minimal side. A complete schism has occurred since then!
