Nothing wrong with using a big mailing list or a website to communicate your political views! It's an important issue - though admittedly it's hard to take seriously a lecture on climate change from someone who flies around the world regularly - he should take a leaf from Matthew Herbert's book and not take any bookings which would involve a flight
