I have some E2cs. The sound is nice but I use my Sennheiser cx300s
(be careful to get genune ones) much much more as the Shures are
incredibly tricky to install in your ear (and get them in and out
again if anyone talks to you)
The Sennheiser's sound is not that different to the e2c.

I would recommend any of the Shure's (I use E2cs) but the fact is,
I do get through a pair every 9-months on average.
Whether that's due to my greater-than-normal carelessness or the
fact that they're not built to last much longer, I'm not sure. But
I have had 3 or 4 pairs so far.
I'd be interested in a tough-as-nails pair that high audio quality
too ...

Subject: (313) (OT) In-ear headphone advice
Hello,
I need some in-ear headphones to replace some old ones which keep
dying on me. I don't want to go too crazy - £80 tops. There are
some Shure and Etymotic headphones available in that price range.
Does anyone have any recommendations. They need to be in-ear so I
can run with them etc. I wouldn't mind going over budget if they
sound good AND last more than a year (unlike the other Sony P.o.S
ones I had...).
Any help would be welcome.
Cheers,
N
