It would have had more impact at one disc. After a while it just sounds like sonic wallpaper. It just lost my attention. It's not bad, it just wasn't mindblowing. I've heard a few discs like it - it doesn't stand out. The best in the Balance series probably came from Paolo Mojo - that was arresting. Balance is locally conceived here in Melbourne and has taken on the ol' Global Underground hegemony, but I still think they could broaden their scope.
