Tenori-on it's much easier for the audience to see the connection of what you're doing to the music no need for overhead projection more visual display options
smaller - hand held puts you back in front of the audience instead of looking down at a panel overcomes that laptop head down not looking at audience situation and who doesn't like a Light Bright?
