if there is digital clipping, it could be from clipping your mixer (if
it is digital) or it would have to be from the original recording. i
doubt that a mastering job could even fix that.....
I'm analogue (ah xone64) - with all levels carefully monitored (I
record all vinyl to digital hence the elyptical needle- levels are
important).
The signal is clipped coming off the vinyl.
I've noticed Theo has these problems too with his stuff. Even on CDs.
