I can't comment on bunker, but his show last week that was *only* 4 hours was excellent. He played a ton of tunes I have never heard before, some Martin Buttrich, and Ron Trent's "Alter States". If anyone has any tracklistings from some of his recent sets I would like to take a look at them.
The crowd was alright too...Except for the unwelcome freaking attemps by some men of questionable (only because I don't swing that way) sexuality. One of the speakers fell and hit my friend in the leg on the way to the ground, and almost plowed over some girl that was like 4'11". --- Michael Kuszynski <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Did anyone get a chance to go to this? > > I have been having a pretty unbearable schedule at > work, so > unfortunately could not make it. > Been so excellent techno shows around here. > > > On Fri, Apr 11, 2008 at 3:23 PM, Beyond Booking > <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > i'm not going to comment on all this Matthew Dear > nonsense, as I'd rather > > talk about what's happening this week at my party, > a 7 hour set from Daniel > > Bell! > > > > also perhaps of interest to this list is The > Bunker Podcast project i > > started a few months ago, with free downloads of > sets from The Bunker > > Archives from Derek Plaslaiko, Kooky Scientist, > Function, Mark Verbos, > > Akufen, etc. available now are sets from > Galoppierende Zuversicht (all > > hardware live set for all of your laptop haters) > and Kate Simko (really > > beautiful live set from this rising Spectral > talent with some nods to > > Detroit). > > > > info on this week's party .... > > > > > > > > Friday April 11 > > > > Beyond Booking presents > > THE BUNKER > > > > > > DANIEL BELL (Accelerate, Logistic | > Detroit/Berlin) > > 7 HOUR SET!! > > > > > > Daniel Bell is considered to be one of the > pioneers of the > > minimal techno genre.
