It isn't that mysterious, Frank. It doesn't matter what tracks you use to check the system so long as
1) They are representative of the sort of music that will be played on that system. 2) The person tuning the sound system is familiar enough with the tracks to know what they're supposed to sound like. And if you don't have any objective idea of what a sound system should sound like, well, you're like every house sound guy in every rock club in the midwest.
