I am not sure about Bath, but if you have time, you could take the 20 minute train journey into Bristol which I know very well. Bristol is currently in the midst of a recession when it comes to decent record shops, but there are some good nights going at the moment. Check www.hijackbristol.co.uk. Is Placid still in Brizzle? I am sure he can give you a better view than me!
