Please help us with the below given requirements, *Send the resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> Job Title: Security Operations Consultant Duration:4 Months Location: MA *Responsibilities: * * * Strong involvement in deployment of Symantec Endpoint Protection to over 800 Windows 2000/2003 servers. Daily management of SAV9/10, SEP11 and SAV4NAS infrastructure including management consoles; policies; definition updates; administrator access and monitoring & reporting. Strong involvement in deployment of server security baseline settings (the Windows platform settings will be enforced by GPOs). Regular use of internal tools to scan for security vulnerabilities on all server platforms (Windows, Unix, and Linux). *Requirements: * * * Minimum 7 years experience in a structure IT environment. Proven troubleshooting skills Willingness and proven ability to work within a fast past, structured environment, while also possessing the desire to improve those processes. Proven track record of focusing on priorities. Solid knowledge and experience with Windows 2000/2003 (with an emphasis on security). MCSE a plus. Exposure to Windows Server 2008, Linux and Unix a plus. Solid knowledge and experience with enterprise level anti-virus software, preferably SAV9/10. Exposure to SEP11 a plus. Solid understanding of TCP/UDP and SNMP protocols. Experience with SMTP, SSL and PKI protocols a plus. Solid understanding of name resolution. Understanding of firewalls and DMZ environments a plus. Exposure to security compliance/auditing guidelines a plus. Proven commitment to customer service and ability to nurture that relationship. *The ideal candidate would have: * * * come from a medium size environment that emphasized structure, security and customer service. Mostly be exposed to servers, but a server/desktop mix would be ok. Be a seasoned veteran that would understand the need to focus on the task at hand no matter how cool some of the other projects might seem. Be mature enough to understand that our first response to an issue can never be "it's not our application". Our Anti-virus application runs on every system in our environment. It's near the top of the usual suspects list when resource utilization is an issue on a server.
