Requirement Description
Note: Experience with OCR/ICR/OMR and barcode concepts, knowledge and
experience is required
Experience with Kofax Ascent Capture scan software experience
Face to Face interview is required
Rate: $70 per hour all inclusive (On Corp-Corp)
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS:
• Research, design, planning, development, implementation, and
troubleshooting of document imaging, workflow, and other related systems.
• Provide technical expertise on complex imaging systems.
• Interpret business requirements to create detailed application design
specifications.
• Assist in resolving process issues through independent research and by
meeting with users.
• Provide detailed time estimates and scheduling information.
• Effectively work with multi-discipline staff.
• Perform testing of products to ensure conformity to technical and business
requirements and standards.
• Recommend system and process design changes.
• Diagnose system problems and provide expertise for resolution.
• Communicate effectively, both orally and in writing, with all levels of
staff.
• Advise management on capabilities and limitations of software.
• Assist in maintaining system security.
• Maintain technical skills and assist other development staff.
• Perform work in groups and independently with little supervision.
• Provide problem resolution from both a technical and business perspective.
• Provide weekly time reports and participate in staff meetings.
• Possess a thorough knowledge of the principles and practices of IT.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
• Proficient skills and proven experience developing in Visual Basic and
.NET.
• Experience with SQL and DB2 concepts and technology.
• Experience with web programming and web service technologies.
• Experience with Global360 Process360 imaging software.
• Experience with Kofax Ascent Capture scan software.
• Experience with Capteris RightFax fax software.
• Experience with imaging, workflow and BPM concepts.
• Experience with OCR/ICR/OMR and barcode technologies.
• Knowledge of IT systems analysis principles and techniques.
• Knowledge of IT hardware/software fundamentals and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of IT client-server fundamentals.
• Ability to analyze and translate management and business process
objectives and requirements into IT solutions.
• Ability to apply technology and innovation to enhance complicated business
processes.
• Ability to develop and maintain working relationships with business units
and clients.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work as a member of a team and independently.
• Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high degree of
quality.
• Ability to perform work which requires a great deal of attention to
detail.
• Preferred disaster recovery planning, documentation and implementation
experience.
• Preferred hardware and software administration, troubleshooting, and
maintenance experience.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING:
Applicants for this position should have a strong knowledge of Visual
Basic/.NET, object-oriented design concepts, and SQL. Applicants should have
5+ years of IT experience and have a degree in computer science, information
technology or closely related field. Applicants should have at least 2+
years of Global360 Process360 imaging, Kofax Ascent Capture scan, and
Capteris RightFax fax software experience. A combination of experience,
education, and training will be considered.
