You will be responsible for optimizing existing SQL queries, creating new queries, and ensuring the overall performance and stability of our database systems. *Key Responsibilities:* • Optimize Existing Queries: Analyze and optimize complex SQL queries to improve performance, reduce resource consumption, and ensure fast response times. • Create New Queries: Design, develop, and implement new SQL queries to support various business requirements and data analysis needs. • Database Design: Assist in the design and maintenance of database schema, including tables, views, indexes, and stored procedures. • Performance Tuning: Monitor database performance and recommend changes to hardware, software, and configuration to enhance performance. • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve database-related issues, including data integrity, locking, deadlocks, and performance bottlenecks. • Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of database structures, queries, optimization strategies, and tuning efforts. • Collaboration: Work closely with application developers, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and provide database solutions. • Best Practices: Implement and advocate for database development best practices, including version control, testing, and deployment processes. • Security: Ensure database security by implementing access controls, encryption, and compliance with data privacy regulations. *Qualifications:* Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: 8+ years of experience working as an Oracle Database Developer or in a similar role. *Technical Skills:* Oracle EBS -E-Business Suite R12 (12.1/12.2) Financial Management (EBS) Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) ◦ Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming. ◦ Strong experience with Oracle Database versions (e.g., 11g, 12c, 19c). ◦ Hands-on experience with performance tuning and optimization of SQL queries and database operations. ◦ Familiarity with Oracle database tools such as Oracle SQL Developer, TOAD, or similar. ◦ Knowledge of database design principles, indexing strategies, and data modeling. ◦ Experience with ETL processes and data integration. *Preferred Qualifications:* • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) or other relevant Oracle certifications. • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and big data technologies. • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Oracle Cloud.
