Hi, Dave!

Here are the quotations for your car, one from BPI/MS and one from UCPB.  I pasted here a summary:

The only major difference is the third party coverage.

In terms of claims, for BPI/MS, you have to have the unit inspected / appraised first (usually you'll just stay around five minutes only), at BPI/MS Calims Evaluation Center in Makati or at an accredited appraiser (like Toyota Shaw or Toyota Ortigas); then they or I will call you for the appraised value before you can bring the car to the preferred shop.  You can submit the docs at the shop which appraised you.  Yes, BPI/MS will issue first an LOA before you send the car to an accredited shop.  If the shop you prefer is not accredited, we'll have to go for cash settlement.  For UCPB, you can go directly to the shop and negotiate, as long as it is accredited.

Yes, for BPI/MS, Carsavers - Ziebart is accredited.  For UCPB, the nearest accredited shop there, I think, is Saturn Autospec, Inc. in Pasig.

Although the important details are already there, I'll attach the quotations just the same for other info, like payment modes, etc.

Thank you uli, Happy Easter and ingat!  As usual, the fastest way I can reply is through cell phone.  :-)

Thanks,

Daniel
