Hi All, This app used 4D v14.5 (Mac).
My goal is to create a few reusable calendar form objects. For example a more flexible calendar than the one 4D’s offers. I would like them to show up in the Object Library accessed from a form. The Widget docs say "4D widgets are functionalities provided as components that can be accessed from the Form editor and/or the preconfigured object library" The only TN/Tips I can find that really explain it date to 4D 2004 But I cannot get them to be seen in the Form editor object library. So clearly I must be missing something. In my last test I just created an object library, added a simple rect, moved the object library into the source folder of the app, restarted… But can’t see it in the object library chooser window. Has anyone successfully created a widget in the object library say from 4D v13 forward? Appreciate any and all tips and even an example if you have one. Appreciate, John... ********************************************************************** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:[email protected] **********************************************************************
