A resource for Mac users that I find very useful is RegExRX. It is available for $4.00 on the Mac app store. It allows you to test Regex patterns in a simple way before actually committing to their use.
It offers an option to copy a Regex pattern in dialects such as 4D and a number of other languages. http://www.regular-expressions.info/tutorial.html <http://www.regular-expressions.info/tutorial.html> is a tutorial site that I think is written very clearly and organized in such as way that you are guided to the sections relevant to the problem that you have without insisting that you learn ALL of Regex first. > On Sep 24, 2016, at 1:23 PM, G-Mail <[email protected]> wrote: > > Looking for a simple starter for Regex resource.
