Hi Miyako, I sure wish that worked -- would be an easy thing to fix. But even when I purposely change another (text/alpha) field, forcing it to save, the 4D Write area changes are not saved. And the WR dirty-bit test stays dirty even after the SAVE RECORD (and, in fact, even after the ACCEPT -- I have no idea when 4D gets around to saving the contents).
If I can't figure this out, I think my recourse will be to hide my arrow buttons, which are procedural. I hate to do that. Any other ideas most appreciated. Thank you, Don >"If you call the SAVE RECORD command when no field has been modified in >the record, the command does nothing (the trigger is not called)." > >http://doc.4d.com/4Dv15R5/4D/15-R5/SAVE-RECORD.301-2937234.en.html > >perhaps you need to explicitly touch the field? > >[Table_1]Field_1:=[Table_1]Field_1 >http://doc.4d.com/4Dv15R5/4D/15-R5/Modified-record.301-2937225.en.html > >> 2016/10/03 11:50、Don Lapin <[email protected]> のメール: >> When I use SAVE RECORD(fileName), 4D saves other field revisions, but >does *not* save the 4D Write changes. > > > >宮古 啓介 >セールス・エンジニア > >株式会社フォーディー・ジャパン >〒150-0043 >東京都渋谷区道玄坂1-10-2 渋谷THビル6F >Tel: 03-6427-8441 >Fax: 03-6427-8449 > >[email protected] >www.4D.com/JP > >********************************************************************** >4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) >FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html >Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html >Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech >Unsub: mailto:[email protected] >********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:[email protected] **********************************************************************
