I haven't dealt with eNode about bugs in their products (some of their products have been on the market for over 25 years so their products are very stable) but I have found them to be very responsive to questions and feature requests. When I contacted eNode about about Display List, the free choice list replacement that ships with AreaList Pro, about adding a feature they were very receptive to the idea and the updated version was available the next day. With PrintList Pro, I sent in a request for a feature that would allow us to use PrintList Pro to do break level processing of arrays. They didn't add that feature overnight but they did roll it out in a subsequent version. Similar story with AreaList Pro - frequent updates and very helpful on the forum. In addition to being mature and feature rich, since the product is not a part of 4D, if there is an issue, you don't have to wait for 4D to release an entirely new version. ALP is a very important product to eNode so they have significant financial incentives to be responsive about issues in ALP. In contrast, list boxes, are *not* a revenue generator for 4D so it's wise to assume that those issues won't get highest priority. Oh, yeh, a permanent, 20+ user license for ALP costs about $350. Cheap, in my book. -- Douglas von Roeder 949-336-2902 ********************************************************************** 4D Internet Users Group (4D iNUG) FAQ: http://lists.4d.com/faqnug.html Archive: http://lists.4d.com/archives.html Options: http://lists.4d.com/mailman/options/4d_tech Unsub: mailto:[email protected] **********************************************************************
